Littlestown Area School District is currently requesting a Bid for the following:

Littlestown Area School District (LASD) is requesting proposals from a qualified firm to provide safe, efficient pupil transportation services for students residing in the district to and from schools within and also outside of the district boundaries. It is the intent of LASD to award a 5 year contract to a provider. The contract would run July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030.

Any questions regarding this RFP should be directed via email to the Business Manager, Thomas Showvaker at showvakert@lasd.k12.pa.us. All questions regarding this proposal must be received by 10:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday April 30, 2025. Only emailed questions will be answered. Either the answers, or an addendum, will be posted on the website by 2:00 p.m. EST on Friday May 2, 2025. Littlestown Area School District reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, or parts, thereof, or items therein, and to waive any defects or irregularities in proposals.

Proposals must be emailed to Thomas Showvaker at showvakert@lasd.k12.pa.us, with the subject line marked “PROPOSAL - CONTRACTED PUPIL TRANSPORTATION.” All proposals are due May 6, 2025, by 12:00 p.m. EST, no exceptions.

Proposals will NOT be opened publicly.
