The community has often referred to the The Littlestown Area School District as a microcosm of the Littlestown area we serve. We are known to many as a close knit community that has a strong sense of pride. Community members and parents alike have told us that they are pleased with the array of opportunities the district provides for students and the knowledge all students possess making them ready for life beyond graduation.
In addition, various district stakeholder groups have stated the district has a strong commitment to student achievement and believes the district has created high academic standards and accountability. But we are not done yet. These academic commitments are coupled with unwavering support for the hardworking and focused professional, administrative, and support staff members who oversee the K - 12 student programs and curriculum.
Finally, one of the best focus areas in the district continues to be centered on meeting the mixed and varied student needs. The true reason for our existence is the students we serve and as such they will continue to be at the core of all conversations in order to create the most efficient and effective school district operation.
