LASD has so much to be proud of this week, we couldn't just pick one thing!
In Mrs. Dull's 8th Grade Babysitting and Childcare unit, students walked down to ACES library to pick out children's books. Using the story or theme of the books, they created board games that reinforce at least 3 kindergarten readiness skills. They were then able to share and play their games in several kindergarten classes this past Monday. It's safe to say all students loved this project!
We are so PROUD of senior student, Matthew Hogg, for his hard work and dedication earning him a seat in the All-State Wind Ensemble on French horn. Matthew will play alongside some of the best musicians in PA at the State Conference April 9-12, 2025! Way to go Matthew!
Our incredibly talented LHS students took the stage last weekend to perform in the Marvelous Wonderettes. The music and dancing throughout the entire performance was so fun! But let's not forget our littlest Bolts and their Library Flight School performances in "Tacky the Penguin" and "Three Cheers for Tacky." Ms. Fink's 5th grade library students entertained Bolt families and classmates with this comical rendition of the popular books.
Great job across all buildings!
