Dear Thunderbolt Families, This year, the Littlestown Area School District participated in “Flexible Instructional Days” or ‘FIDs’ during a school closure due to weather, such as a snow day. This meant that on days when school was closed due to winter weather, students attended school remotely. The day counted as a full day of school and a ‘snow make-up day’ was not required.
Please take a few moments to provide feedback regarding the use of FID days this year by taking this short SURVEY.
For the 2020-2021 school year we experienced 5 weather-related days. See the number of weather days used in previous years below:
2019-2020 - 6 days
2018-2019 - 4 days
2017-2018 - 3 days
2016-2017 - 2 days
Thank you,
Christopher Bigger, Superintendent
