Exciting morning for our sophomore class! This morning they had the opportunity to participate in a presentation to explore the variety of programs offered by ACTI (Adams County Technical Institute). From hands-on training to career exploration, our students are one step closer to discovering their passions and future pathways. A big thanks to ACTI for inspiring our future leaders!

The purpose of this communication is to alert families in advance of an important schedule change in January 2025 for our Littlestown High School students specifically. Our MAMS and ACES families will follow the regularly planned dates of vacation and instruction.
Please reference the table image for your student's building schedule for January 17-22, 2025.
This schedule change allows the best opportunity for our secondary teachers and staff to move their classrooms and offices in an efficient and timely manner.
We are very excited to be completing Phase I of the building project! If you have any questions regarding the schedule, please reach out to your student's assigned building.

Parents of ACES Walkers: This is a reminder to utilize the crosswalks at each intersection on the school campus and to obey the Crossing Guards directions. Crossing Guards not only watch and guide pedestrians, but also watch for moving vehicles, van, buses to ensure pedestrian safety. Walking out into the roadways without direction from the Crossing Guard is dangerous. Safety must come first. We appreciate your attention and cooperation when crossing the streets.
This is the beginning of National School Bus Safety Week, which is held on the third week of every October. Our goal here at LASD is to ensure the safety of every student on our buses.
Between 2013 and 2022, 111 occupants were killed in school transportation vehicles in the US; 50 were drivers and 61 were passengers (source: NHTSA). We need your help in reminding your student(s) that good behavior belongs not only in the classroom, but also on the school bus each day.

The Junior High Field Hockey game scheduled with Biglerville today (10/3/24) will now be played at Littlestown's field hockey field. Game time is 4:15.
The 10/2/24 Junior High Field Hockey game vs Spring Grove has been postponed. Rescheduled date TBD.
The 10/1/24 Girls Tennis match vs York Catholic is now canceled.
The 10/1/24 Cross Country meet is rescheduled to Thursday 10/3/24 at Codorus State Park.
