Littlestown fire company came to visit 2nd grade for fire prevention week.
Students in Mrs. A. Smith's third grade class had a visit from three students from the Littlestown FFA. They learned about the parts of a corn plant and how we use different types of corn. The students got to enjoy an ear of corn with their lunch last week that was grown by the FFA students.
The High School visited second grade today to teach them all about corn.
On November 3, 2022, the Thunderbolt Foundation will be part of the Adams County Community Foundation’s annual Giving Spree. Money designated for the Thunderbolt Foundation during the spree will be used towards initiatives to support LASD. We hope you will consider contributing to the Giving Spree and support our local nonprofits.

The fourth grade is participating in a service project to benefit the Ronald Mc Donald House of South Central Pennsylvania (RMHSCP). The House is located near the Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey, PA. We will be collecting aluminum tabs the entire year. The community can help by supporting a fourth grader and saving those tabs.

If you have left-over clothes and shoes from Good 'Ole Days, the Thunderbolt Foundation will be hosting a clothing drive on Saturday, August 20 from 12 - 4 PM at the bus loop at Alloway Creek Elementary School.
