Students from Mr. Powell's AP Physics 2 class took a trip to the Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia. The museum is a Smithsonian that houses an SR-71 Blackbird, the Enola Gay, the space shuttle Discovery, and (most importantly) a Thunderbolt plane! Students explored the museum and learned about applications to physics and aerospace engineering.
