🌮 💙 💛 The LHS Gourmet Foods classes continued creating recipes with protein. Last weeks focus was on pork - 'Pork Fried Rice' and 'Carnitas' (Pulled Pork Tacos).
🌮 💙 💛 The LHS Basic Culinary classes began recipes with vegetables - 'Southwest Veggie Quesadillas' and Baked/ Sweet Potatoes.
Can't wait to see what we cook up in Ms. Luckenbaugh's classes this week.
💙 💛 This is an auction fundraiser benefiting ACAC and its art programs for the community.

💙 💛 The creativity and artistic nature of the NAHS students inspire LHS National Art Honor Societies' gingerbread. By creating an easel and canvas entirely out of gingerbread, the NAHS officers worked together to paint a landscape of a cozy gingerbread house, using only frosting and food dye.

Support the LHS Marketing 2 Class on their latest project that benefits our Cares Closet. The "Warm Up the Winter Food Drive" project is planned by students, posters/other advertising are created, students track & ensure the Cares Closet receives all donations. Community members wishing to donate, please drop off donations at LHS Door 1B.
On Wednesday, December 3rd, three LHS seniors were recognized for completing the KLK Welding Program — Nic Martinez, Brayden Wike, and Noah Ryan!
Under the guidance of instructors Bruce Lee and Ken Kirkpatrick, these students gained the skills needed to succeed in the welding and fabrication industry and prepared for AWS certification testing.
🔧 What’s next?
• Nic and Brayden will continue their education and shadowing experience this spring.
• Noah is starting a pre-apprenticeship program through the Hanover Chamber of Commerce.
Be sure to congratulate these young men when you see them — we’re proud of their hard work and bright futures! 💙✨
