📣 🗨️ ATTENTION LHS students.......Auditions for this year's musical, Cinderella, will be held Monday, December 15th - after school in the auditorium. They should last about an hour. Nothing needs to be prepared in advance, but arrive dressed to move AND bring your calendar so we can schedule rehearsals around your conflicts. Rehearsals are typically held right after school, but not everyone will be called every day.
⁉️ ⁉️ Never been in a musical before? That's OK - now is your chance! (And Seniors, possibly your last chance!) We need so many soldiers, dancers, and townspeople, in addition to lead roles. Rehearsals are limited in number for the ensemble - you'd only need to be here a few days.

🌮 💙 💛 The LHS Gourmet Foods classes continued creating recipes with protein. Last weeks focus was on pork - 'Pork Fried Rice' and 'Carnitas' (Pulled Pork Tacos).
🌮 💙 💛 The LHS Basic Culinary classes began recipes with vegetables - 'Southwest Veggie Quesadillas' and Baked/ Sweet Potatoes.

Support the LHS Marketing 2 Class on their latest project that benefits our Cares Closet. The "Warm Up the Winter Food Drive" project is planned by students, posters/other advertising are created, students track & ensure the Cares Closet receives all donations. On Wednesday, December 3rd, three LHS seniors were recognized for completing the KLK Welding Program — Nic Martinez, Brayden Wike, and Noah Ryan!
Under the guidance of instructors Bruce Lee and Ken Kirkpatrick, these students gained the skills needed to succeed in the welding and fabrication industry and prepared for AWS certification testing.
🔧 What’s next?
• Nic and Brayden will continue their education and shadowing experience this spring.
• Noah is starting a pre-apprenticeship program through the Hanover Chamber of Commerce.
Be sure to congratulate these young men when you see them — we’re proud of their hard work and bright futures! 💙✨
