On February 14th, students attended workshops at the Appell Center for Performing Arts. They participated in activities surrounding Costume Design, Voiceover Acting, Scenic Design and Sound Design.

Today February 15th is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day! SROs keep our schools safe and cultivate positive relationships with our students, families, staff, and community. Thank you Mr. Lorenz for keeping LASD safe! We asked him a few questions to share with the community: 🟨Why did you decide to become a School Resource Officer? 🟦 I left retirement to help this community provide a lasting and meaningful positive impact on the students in this community. I hope to continue this by maintaining the great working relationships I have with staff and students. All while being active in addressing the safety issues of the Littlestown School District. 🟨What is something students might not know about you? 🟦I am recently engaged to be married, and very much looking forward to my next chapter in life. 🟨What makes you proud to work in LASD? 🟦Since my arrival in this community, I have met some very impressive people. They have been very welcoming to me personally. The positive energy here, to do what's best for the students, is inspiring. It makes this job fun and easy to do.
