Congratulations to these LHS students for participating in a 5 hour CPR and Direct Care Worker Training today. Each student learned skills such as basic infection control, dealing with difficult behaviors, handling of emergencies, and much more! Way to go!

With a score of 68.85, LHS Indoor Percussion took 1st Place this weekend at their competition at Governor Thomas Johnson High School! Great job!

Congratulations to 11th grade student, Kate Edson, for winning the Widener University High School Leadership Award! Spring Sports Meeting: Wednesday, 2/23/22 @ 6:00 PM in the high school new gym. Any student in grades 7-12 planning to participate in a spring sport should plan to attend this meeting with a parent/guardian.

Our Varsity Boys Basketball team will travel to Red Lion High School this Saturday, February 12th, for the YAIAA Quarter-Final Game vs Northeastern. Game time is 6:00 PM. Doors open at 5:00. No advance ticket sale - all tickets sold at door. Prices - Adults $6 & Students $4. GO BOLTS!!

It's dissection day in Ms. Burton's Anatomy & Physiology class! Students have spent weeks studying human muscles and will now have the chance to identify muscles in rats. Next week they will test on the different muscles they've observed.


On Tuesday, Mr. Powell's AP Physics 1 students performed the "Barbie Bungee Jump" lab. The students were learning about conservation of energy by determining the correct height to drop the Barbie's from. The goal was to give the Barbie's a thrilling jump, WITHOUT hitting the floor! Students had a great time with this lab!
