The Saturday performance of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum has been CANCELLED. A message from Mr. Michael Baker, director of the musical: Sadly, due to the weather, we must cancel our show today. Opening night was, in my opinion, a wonderful success and an excellent culmination of hours of work by the students. They should all be very proud of what they accomplished. Obviously the past few years has hit everyone hard. Our school switched to virtual two years ago, almost immediately after our musical Once Upon a Mattress. Last year, we presented a trimmed down version of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown in an attempt to still attempt to give our student actors, crew, and musicians the opportunity to perform that they deserved, while still following the health requirements of the time. We offered this show free of charge. For this year’s show, if you would like a refund, please contact the athletic office of the school. We know money is tight for everyone. However, if you would want to view the price of your ticket as a donation to the arts, to support the various expenses that go into giving students the tools to perform and shine their best, we would very much appreciate your generosity. We are unable to reschedule the show due both to our copyright agreement with the publisher and, more pressingly, scheduling conflicts with actors, including leads who have notified me directly. STUDENTS: Great work on a wonderful show. The laughter I heard while sitting in the audience last night, and the many playgoers who approached me afterwords with glowing reviews is an indicator of your excellent success. I imagine you had a similar experience afterwards. You truly did “employ every device in [your] effort to divert” us. I am so proud of you all but, more importantly, you should be proud of yourselves for your awesome accomplishment. - Mr. Michael Baker

Join @LittlestownFBLA & @FeedingPA’s #HearThePACrunch to extend Congressional policies to make sure kids get the nutrition they need! This year, Feeding PA is promoting the “Hear the Pennsylvania Crunch!” campaign to focus on ensuring kids have enough to eat year-round – and that starts with extending child nutrition flexibilities. Right now, schools and community meal sites can safely feed kids thanks to flexible policies that started during the pandemic. But those policies are about to expire. We need your help to tell Congress to extend those policies and make sure kids get the nutrition they need – no matter whether school is in session or not.
