We welcomed our new staff to the Thunderbolt family today! We are excited to start the 2022/2023 school year when students walk through our doors this Thursday, August 18th!
CHIP covers uninsured kids and teens up to age 19. With more than 111,000 uninsured children in Pennsylvania, this is great news for families!
CHIP provides quality, comprehensive health insurance for routine doctor visits, prescriptions, dental, eye care, eyeglasses, mental health, and much more. CHIP covers uninsured kids who are not eligible for Medical Assistance. For most families, CHIP is free – for others, it is low cost.

CHIP is pleased to partner with school districts in helping families find health insurance coverage for their children. Schools are a valuable partner in this effort. After all, healthy kids are better students.
The Thunderbolt Foundation will be hosting a clothing drive on Saturday, August 20 from 12 - 4 PM at the bus loop at Alloway Creek Elementary School. We will be accepting clothing and shoes only. All donations will be given to our partner, Community Aid. All proceeds we receive from Community Aid from our donations will be given to Littlestown's Ruth's Harvest.
