This week students in Gourmet Foods and Basic Culinary used corn donated from the FFA fields to make their first food labs of the year. Mrs Dull and I instructed them in a Mexican Street corn recipe. Gourmet foods also was instructed on how to freeze corn.

LHS has Preschool Openings for students ages 4 to 5!
The preschool class will be starting at the end of October. We are looking for a few more kids for the class. The preschool class runs for 26 weeks (Oct 24th - May 13th), is typically Mon through Thurs from 7:40 - 9:00 am.
LHS students provide kindergarten readiness tasks and a snack daily. Registration is $75 for the 26 week duration. To be enrolled preschoolers must be 4 - 5 years old (turning 4 before Nov). Questions? Sign Up? Contact Stacy Luckenbaugh at luckenbaughs@lasd.k12.pa.us

If you have left-over clothes and shoes from Good 'Ole Days, the Thunderbolt Foundation will be hosting a clothing drive on Saturday, August 20 from 12 - 4 PM at the bus loop at Alloway Creek Elementary School.
