MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Dr. Seuss reads to 2nd grade. Thank you Dr. Ross!
Angela Bradner, is in our Staff Spotlight this month! She has served as a day-to-day substitute for LASD since January 2007! At that time, she was a stay-at-home mom and was looking for something to keep her busy so she applied to help in the cafeteria or anywhere she was needed. We quickly learned she has a Bachelor’s Degree and she has been substituting for us in the classroom ever since. Angie serves as a day-to-day substitute but she does so much more than that! She continues to fill in for us in emergency situations when we can’t fill a position, she helps with assemblies, supports secretarial staff, helps with state testing, pitches in with duties in the cafeteria and parking lot areas during arrival and dismissal, and she provides classroom instruction for staff who go for professional development. Angie does a lot of everything and anything wherever she is needed in the district. We value and appreciate her commitment to LASD!
Congratulations to the January Students of the Month! L - R: Aydan Fitzgerald-12th grade, Jackson Bell-4th grade, Catalina Spicer-1st grade, Angelique Flickinger-7th grade, and Abigail Riedel-12th grade.
