Community Aid and the Thunderbolt Foundation came to visit ACES to see the new Fork Farm! The Thunderbolt Foundation received a grant from Community Aid to purchase the Fork Farm, which is a hydroponic growing system. ACES will be using the Fork Farm in kindergarten and 1st grade science lessons as well as STEM classes. The Thunderbolt Foundation is grateful for their partnership and support from Community Aid to enhance learning and community outreach opportunities for LASD students

Fifth-grade students have been practicing hard for their production of "The Sneetches" by Dr. Seuss. They will perform at the PTO Read Across America Family Night on February 29 and in school on March 1.
Alloway Creek was represented by 16, 5th graders at the STEM Design Challenge today. One of our teams won 2nd Place, Congratulations Aubrey, Sophia, Mason and Jackson!!
